Stabling

Our large, well-ventilated barn is situated on a knoll allowing gentle southern California breezes to flow through our facility year-round. The stalls are located within this large steel barn which also houses our treatment center, offices and laboratory. Adjacent to the barn are our covered pens, walking ring, Eurociser (free-walker) and staff quarters.

All of the stalls in our barn are 12 feet x 12 feet and are padded with mats for extra comfort. We use shavings for bedding and the stalls are cleaned at least three times daily. The entire barn is equipped with an automatic sprayer to virtually eliminate the fly population.

Our pens vary in size from 12 x 12 feet to 24 x 24 feet. All pens provide half to full covers for shade and are lined with Stall Skins to allow drainage to keep the bedding dry. All pens are bedded with shavings to provide added comfort.

• All pens contain Stall Skins – these thick felt mats allow moisture and urine to flow into the soil rather than pool in horse's living area
• All pens are bedded with shavings
• All pens have half to full covers
• A few open sand pens are also available upon request
